In Clickteam Fusion, you can skin the various editors to fit your preferences. The following three skins come included with Clickteam Fusion:
Other skins have must be created by yourself or downloaded from third party sources. Creating skins in Clickteam Fusion is trivial. Within the 'Skins' folder of the Clickteam Fusion directory, there exist multiple image files. Each of these files correspond to a specific element in the Clickteam Fusion interface. Therefore, to create a custom skin, you can simply edit these files.
To see any changes you have made you can choose oe of the following:
Some sections of the editors use 9-slice techniques to create variable boxes. The filter box in the event editor, for example, slices the image from "EE_Filter" filter. In 9-slicing, the original image is divided up into 9 pieces:
4 corner pieces
2 horizontal pieces
2 vertical pieces
1 middle piece
The corner pieces are placed at the four corners of the box. Then the horizontal and vertical pieces then scale (or repeat depending on the specific 9-slice technique) to fill the space between these corner pieces. Finally the middle piece scales (or repeats) to fill the space between the horizontal and vertical pieces.
Each Clickteam Fusion skin should have 61 files in its folder
Any missing file makes the skin disappear within Clickteam Fusion, so make sure every file exists.
